EDGE Learning is the University of Arizona’s new Enterprise Learning Management System for delivering and tracking training and professional development activity for all employees and students. It replaces UAccess Learning and several compliance systems so that all your training and professional development activities will be accessible and documented in one system.

Anyone with a UA NetID can access Edge Learning using UA WebAuth. Guest accounts will be set up for those individuals who are required to take training in some restricted instances.

Click on the red 'Log into EDGE Learning' button on the top right-hand corner of this page OR go to You will then be prompted to log in with your UA Net ID. For more detailed instructions on logging into EDGE Learning, please review our Log into EDGE section.

No! D2L is not going anywhere and will continue to be the learning management system for all academic programs. EDGE Learning will instead replace UAccess Learning and will serve as the system of record for all job-specific training and professional development completed by employees and students.

All current compliance related training records will be transferred to EDGE Learning and accessible on your dashboard. For detailed instructions on how to access your completed learning history & certifications, please review the resources under our View Completed Learning section.

EDGE Learning is designed to work seamlessly and intuitively on desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones. For mobile instructions, please view our Accessing EDGE on Mobile resources.

Please visit the "I Want To..." tab to see detailed steps on navigating your EDGE profile.

Yes! EDGE Learning offers various security roles to suit your business & departmental needs. Our Role Overview page walks you through the Registrar Role, EDGE Analytics Dashboard, and Instructor Role.

No. Employees who are on leave or managers of employees who are on leave do not need to request extensions for trainings that will become overdue during the employee's leave. It is acceptable for a training to show as overdue on an employee's EDGE Learning profile while they are on leave. It is recommended that the employee and manager work to prioritize completing the overdue trainings during the first week of return to work.

Note: Trainings that impact netID access (currently only Information Security Awareness) will be automatically removed from an employee's plan while they are on leave and will be reassigned when they return. Employees/Managers do not need to reach out to have this training removed or reassigned.

That’s great! EDGE Learning is a true enterprise system that will scale to meet the training and development needs of our entire community. We are eager to have you take full advantage of the system. For more information, please view the resources under Becoming an Offering Department. You can submit a request to have your training offered in EDGE by submitting this form.
